Dave Steiner and family started their salt water heterotrophic shrimp farm in February of 2012 in Elpaso IL. He is doing a 4 tank operation and as of July he has 3 tanks in operation. He is looking forward to his first harvest in August. We are excited for the Steiner family and know they will do very well.
Update: He is selling shrimp like crazy. You need to call and get your order in. Good for them. YEA!!

Northern Indiana Aqua Products are new members and they have been raising Tilapia for a while and decided to try their hand at shrimp, so far so good. They have a 4 salt water heterotrophic system tank operation and will be selling their first shrimp around November we are very excited to have them aboard. They are very knowledgeable about aquaculture.

We wish to welcome aboard Chip and Judy Carr of Rensselaer, IN. They have designed their own shrimp system and bought our PLs to get started. So far they have been doing very well and Judy is very excited about her new job. We want to wish them luck and success also.
We get to add the new shrimp farm in New Mexico, Las Cruses, the University of New Mexico. They are starting out with 2500 of our pls in their system. We delivered them August 7, 2012 and they are still doing great. Welcome aboard.
In Elgin MN there is a new shrimp farm. They are the first in Minnesota to be raising saltwater shrimp indoors. They are very excited to be doing this. They are going to be a wonderful asset to the shrimp farming business. We welcome them aboard and all the success they deserve.

Shrimp/Shrimp in Fort Wayne Indiana; they are doing very well and have more than 30,000 shrimp in their facility all ready.
Noah & Barb Beechy of LaGrange Indiana; they are up and running with 2 tanks this month and we will be taking more juveniles to them next month. They are full and selling shrimp right now. If in their area check them out.
Finally Red Barn Shrimp is up and running. It has been a long haul but Jerry Reinke has gotten his first batch of shrimp and is ready to go. He is very excited and he will be offering tours in his facility for schools and groups.
We are very excited for all three of these new shrimp farms.
We set up a new farm in Cedar Falls Iowa called Northern Iowa Shrimp LLC. He is going to be a large producer of shrimp, looking at 32 tanks. Should have shrimp ready for sale by Christmas.
Just delivered equipment to Everly Iowa, Mike Heuck, owner and his wife are very excited about their new adventure. They will be getting their first batch of shrimp in December of 2013.
Mike and Shannon Passineau from Pittsburgh PA are the newest members with shrimp in their facility. They are very excited and planning on expanding in a year from now.

MOVIE TO BE RELEASED
The Movie about raising shrimp being produced by Navy fish in Florida is about ready to be premiered. So exciting. They took
some of our input and input from other shrimp farmers to make this movie. We are very excited.
Raising Shrimp is going to premiere at the DC Environmental Film Festival on March 29th and will likely screen in San Francisco on April 6th.
