There's always something going on at RDM Shrimp! We feature events for you and your entire family throughout the year, so keep abreast of the latest events by regularly checking out this website.

We will be offering Shrimpology 101 classes.  You can sign up thru email or phone call.     YOU MUST sign up before class.  We need to know how many will be attending.  The class is limited to small number to make it more of a one on one along with a better hands on experience.  The Fee is $300 per person.

The Shrimpology 101 Class will be 8 to 5 EST.  The first half will be a class room setting learning about water quality and how to care for healthy shrimp.  How to set up your barn and tank systems.  We will go over some marketing ideas and some financing.  We go over testing and the parimeter of the water.   You will also learn how to harvest, package and promote your shrimp. 

You will recieve  a take home packet  along with a work book with an over view of what you be learning  that day as well as certificate for completing RDM Shrimp 101 Class.  

We will supply lunch for everyone.  If you have a dietary restriction please let me know.  

The Next In person Shrimpology 101 is June 26, 2026

For those that can not make the inperson class and the hands on version we are offering an online version from 9 to noon once a month.  Dates listed below.  We will offer the same information just none of the hands on and in person attention.  The cost for the online is $50 you can sign up online.   Please pick which date you are intersted in.  If you need to change your date just let me know.  Two days before the class you will recieve a zoom link.

The next date for on line course is April 24, 2026 from 9 to noon EST So if interested in learning about shrimp farming .  These are in person with a video of the facility and overview and then I answer all of your questions.
